WRGA: Bojangles robbed on Redmond Circle

From WRGA: Rome police are looking for a man that held up the Bojangles at 1383 Redmond Circle around 7:34 p.m. on Friday evening.

According to Capt. Paul Greene of the Rome Police Department, a black male carrying a handgun and wearing a disguise came in the back door of the business and demanded money.

Rome and Floyd County police officers, as well as Floyd County sheriff’s deputies, all had units in the area and responded to the call.

A K-9 unit was called to the area to search for the suspect. He was not found but police have recovered some evidence. Greene said the business did have video surveillance, too.

One employee was treated at the scene by Redmond EMS for an injury.
