Former Berry College player Collin McHugh is starting pitcher for Houston as the Astros play host Toronto Blue Jays at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium in Dunedin, Fla., today. Game time temperature 77 degrees under mostly blue skies.
From Berry: Collin McHugh made his major league debut with the New York Mets in August 2014. He pitched at Berry College from 2006-08, made four starts for the Mets at the end of last season. McHugh was drafted out of Berry by the Mets in the 18th round of the 2008 First-Year Player Draft. McHugh was 13-9 with five saves for the Vikings during his collegiate career. He joined the Mets organization following his junior year at Berry.
