Calhoun Police arrest trio in connection with Old Mill Village area burglaries

Chief Garry Moss states, Calhoun Police have charged three suspects in connection with several burglaries that occurred last month in the old mill village area of Calhoun.

On February 18th, 2015 Calhoun Police received a complaint stating four vacant rental homes had been burglarized with each residence sustaining extensive damage. Detectives began an investigation into the matter which subsequently led to the arrest of all three suspects on March 11, 2015. Arrested was

  • 20 year old Anthony Roland Owenby of Calhoun Ga.
  • 25 year old Brent M. Parker of Calhoun Ga.
  • 25 year old James R. McRee of Calhoun Ga.

All three suspects face charges of four (4) counts each of First Degree Felony Burglary. All suspects remain in the Gordon County Jail with bond proceedings pending.
