$1.3 billion up for grabs: No winner Saturday night so Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot soars

From Georgia Lottery: Get ready for another outbreak of lottery fever as the jackpot soars to $1.3 billion (or more) by the drawing just before 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Saturday’s jackpot of $945 million already was nearly $300 million over the record. What hasn’t changed: your odds of winning, 1 in 292 million.

The drawing for this record-breaking jackpot is tonight at 11 p.m.

Saturday night: At least seven tickets had five correct numbers but not the Powerball — unlucky no. 13 (that included at least one ticket sold in Georgia). In all, more than 18.3 million tickets paid out anywhere from $4 to $2 million Saturday night.
