Another rush hour and another traffic issue in Greater Rome this afternoon. Emergency personnel remain on the scene of an accident with injuries near 2101 Ga. 101 south of the Ledbetter Interchange. The accident is in the northbound lanes into Rome. At 4:40 p.m., “everybody was still at the scene,” according to E-911. We suggest alternatives until we get further updates, including taking Chateau Drive below the accident to U.S. 411 or taking Maple Avenue north of south.
