The AAAA state champion Cartersville Purple Hurricanes selected as Fox 5’s Team of the Year

This just in from Fox 5 Atlanta’s High 5 Sports: “After a unanimous internal vote, the Cartersville Purple Hurricanes are the High 5 Sports Team of the Year. We’ll present CHS with another trophy after the Christmas break.”

Cartersville beat favored Buford 10-0 Saturday evening to win the state AAAA football title.
