Health: Flu cases continue to be ”widespread” but with no new deaths statewide; additional 32 new hospitalizations in Metro Atlanta area. So far, 19 deaths this season.

    Flu cases continue to be relatively low for the week ending March 16, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health. There were no new fatalities, but 32 hospitalizations related to the flu in metro Atlanta. Since Sept. 30, a total of 1,371 people have been hospitalized and 19 people have died. During… Read more
