Updated: Cartersville Police identify 63-year-old pedestrian struck and killed on Highway 411 Friday night.

Update: The name of the deceased female was Hou Jin Dong (63yrs) of Cartersville. The crash happened at the intersection of 411 and Peeples Valley in the roadway. At this time charges are not being pursued for the driver of the vehicle. The report will be sent once completed.

From-Cartersville Police: A 63 year old female was struck by a vehicle in the intersection of 411 and Peeples Valley at 11:43 p.m. The female was pronounced deceased at Cartersville Medical Center after transport. At this time no charges pending for driver of vehicle. Name of female will be released later in the day.
