Saturday: The Annual Rome-Floyd Humane Society’s St. PETrick’s Day Parade beginning at 11 a.m. at Bridgepoint Plaza. The pet parade will make it’s way down Broad Street to 4th Ave, turn on W 1st Street, and head back to Bridgepoint Plaza.

Saturday: Harbin Clinic will be the presenting sponsor of this year’s Leprechaun-a-thon, the inaugural event of the 2015 Harbin Clinic Race Series. Put on by the Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority, the race will take place at Barron Stadium and Maddox Track in Rome and is set to begin at 1 p.m. Entry fees are $25 for the 5K and $20 for the two-mile health walk. Saturday: The 5th Annual Ginger Pride Parade down Broad St. in Downtown Rome. Redheads and those without are encouraged to join the fun at Heritage Park at 11 a.m. Parade begins at 12 p.m. and will march down Broad St. to the City Auditorium. Details

Saturday: Lucky Clover Cruise-In and Costume Contest at James H. “Sloppy” Floyd State Park in Summerville from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bring the family for a Car Cruise-In and a Leprechaun Costume Contest for children 8 years of age or younger. Age divisions are 0 to 3 years, 4 to 5 years, and 6 to 8. he Classic Car Cruise-in will be located in the Upper Parking Lot of the Picnic area of the Park and the costume contest will be held at 1:00 PM in Pavilion #2. Saturday: Big Saturday at State Mutual Stadium with Annual Redneck Rummage Sale is slated from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. Along with searching for lost treasures among 150 vendors, fans will have the first opportunity to purchase single game tickets for the 2015 season at 9 a.m. In addition, those that would like to tryout to sing the National Anthem can do so beginning at 1:30 p.m. National Anthem tryout registration will open at 12:30 p.m. and close at 2 p.m. Tryouts begin at 1:30 p.m. Auditions must be performed a cappella. Groups and individuals are welcome.

Saturday: The 12th annual Southeastern Cowboy Gathering continues at the Booth Museum in Cartersville. Activities include the Southeastern Chuck Wagon Cook-off, singer/songwriter workshops, children’s art activities, fancy gun tricks show and more. Details

Now-Sunday: Final weekend of The Art of Diplomacy: Winston Churchill and the Pursuit of Painting exhibition at The Martha Berry Museum. The exhibit showcases six Churchill paintings and several artifacts. Admission is $5 for students and $8 for adults. The museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. There will be a special black-tie optional gala on Sunday at 5 p.m. that will include tours and baronial dinner with Former Lord Mayor of Westminster and Winston Churchill’s Great Grandson Duncan Sandys is planned to benefit Rome’s showcase of this international exhibition.

Sunday: Advocates for Children is seeking extras to be included in their Short Film. Join the movie magic at 2 p.m. at the Clarence Brown Conference Center. “We will be filming a graduation scene and need between 30-50 extras.
