The situation: According to the National Weather Service’s latest Hydrologic outlook, rain likely for the remainder of the week with periods of heavy rainfall expected Thursday-Saturday. Total rainfall of 2-4 inches is possible. Isolated flash flooding is possible since our area has already received 2-3 inches of rain over the last two weeks in addition to the snow and ice storms. Thunderstorms are possible, but no severe weather is expected at this time.
