Two arrested on multiple charges for car break-ins in Floyd County
From Floyd County Police: Floyd County Police Department Criminal Investigation Division arrested Cody S. Reeves and Alex Michael Monroe for numerous car break-ins over the last three months. Cody S. Reeves, 19, of 2070 Kingston Hwy has been arrested on 22cts. of Entering Automobile with Intent to commit a felony or theft within and 12 cts of Criminal Trespass. Additional charges include Theft by Taking, Theft by Receiving, and several drug and weapons charges. Alex M. Monroe, 25, of 418 Sproull Rd was arrested on 3/10/2015 on 10cts of Party to the Crime of Entering Autos. The affected neighborhoods that were affected include the Larkwood Dr. Subdivision, Freeman Ferry and Old Freeman Ferry, Turner Chapel Rd, and High Point Subdivision. The investigation is still on going at this time due to new reported victims and additional charges are pending.
