Smile Report: Big weekend for Rome Aerials gymnastics team
Media release: The Rome Aerials gymnastics team seems to be hitting their mid-season stride in 2015. This past weekend, the Aerials competed at the “Paws for a Cause Invitational” at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The weekend started off with Levels 3,4,5 taking home 57 medals total with Lori Pendleton (Level 5) taking first place in the All Around. The level 6 team set a 2015 record, scoring 110.600, taking home first Place Team.
Head Coach Matt Zollitsch said “We have a very special group of athletes this year. Each gymnast this year is just a pleasure to work with. They just seem to get better and better every week. From our Level 3 team, all the way up to our Level 10 gymnast, has the potential of showing great athletic achievement.”
