Updated Smile Report: Armuchee Middle students take first place in state technology fair
Armuchee Middle School students Ben Graves and James Blankenship took first place in the Case Modification category of the Georgia Technology Education Fair on Saturday. According to Beth Wardlaw, teacher at Armuchee Middle, the students completed against 17 regions with over 1,000 other students. A total of eight Armuchee Middle students competed. Other students who placed include Abby Murphy won third place for mobile app design and Zainab Waseem and Kasey Barnett won second place for digital video production. Other students who participated included Caleb Hammond and Gavin McClellan for Robotics and Olivia Martin for 3D modeling.
