It seems a new Del Taco restaurant is coming in the near future to Cartersville. Terry Laughridge, owner of local Terry Reid Auto dealerships, has the franchise rights to Del Taco restaurants in Cartersville, Lake Point (Emerson), Rome and Calhoun.
When asked about plans for new location, Laughridge says “Cartersville first, then Rome, then Calhoun and Lake Point last. We would like to watch the maturity and growth of Lake Point.”
Laughridge was tight-lipped about the exact location of where the restaurant would be in Cartersville. Building officials in Cartersville and Bartow County say they have not received any plans for a new Del Taco restaurant at this time.
However, hiring for a Restaurant General Manager for the Cartersville location is already underway. The job is currently advertised on ZipRecruiter.com. The description says “Del Taco Franchise opening in North Georgia planning to open several locations in the North Georgia area.” No other details were listed about the location.
