‘Kingmakers’ TV show to tape along Oostanaula Sunday; public invited
Media release: The Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau and ABC Studios invites the public to watch and participate in the filming for the production of “The Kingmakers” on Sunday. Filming will take place on the Oostanaula River from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and spectators are asked to line the Town Green riverfront and pedestrian bridge to watch, and cheer on the rowing regatta that will take place on the river.
What to wear: Folks coming on Sunday should AVOID logoed apparel (ex: no Nike, graphics or Berry logos); wear blue. Please avoid anything red.
Opportunities to participate in the filming as a paid extra are still available. Filming will take place on March 23-27. Ideal candidates are college students and do not have to be available every day to apply. Interested candidates should email three photos (head, body and profile) in addition to age, height, weight and contact information. There will be traffic delays at the following scheduled locations on Sunday. There will be intermittent traffic control on Second Avenue and Fifth Avenue between Broad Street and West Third Street from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Traffic will be held up to five minutes and released as they are actively filming on the river.
