Grand opening, ribbon cutting for Cevian Design Lab in downtown Rome

Given the amount of work on their collective plates, it was amazing Cevian Design Lab’s Mark Cochran and Jessica Bittle (center) had time to cut the ribbon at Friday’s Greater Rome Chamber event. Delayed eight days by wintry weather, Friday’s grand opening came off without a hitch as Cevian’s latest — perhaps final — downtown location formally opened for business. The design firm, and Mark Cochran’s original venture, used a few sites before the partners purchased, redevelopment and then partially sold the former Lee’s Furniture building at 206 and 208 Broad. Cevian is on the second floor of the building. For more chamber photos, please click here.
