Event closings or cancellations:

  • Rome High’s Run With the Wolves and Wolf Nation Celebration on Saturday: “It is with very heavy hearts that we have concluded that we must cancel the event. The weather concerns have been upgraded and we cannot risk any chance of injury to anyone in the attempt to participate. We appreciate all of the support so much, and will be offering a t-shirt and bag pick up day for those that would like to get the swag. Again, we are very sad to come to this conclusion.” Registered runners are invited to come to Rome High School on Monday, February 23 to pick up T-shirts and runner bags.

Medical:

  • From Harbin Clinic: “Because of weather concerns, Harbin Clinic Immediate Care is planning to delay opening of our facility at 1825 Martha Berry Highway until noon Saturday, February 21, 2015. We hope everyone understands that we are making this decision based on what we see in weather reports, for the safety of patients and employees. We ask that any patients who need more urgent care call 911 or if needed, go directly to the ER of one of our wonderful local hospitals.
