Floyd Police searching for murder suspect in death of 21-year-old Patrick Marcus Wall
From Floyd County Police: On March 14, 2015 at approximately 6:59 P.M, Floyd County Police Officers as well as Georgia State Patrol were dispatched to a location on Drummond Drive to a reported Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries.
Upon their arrival, First Responders immediately determined that the driver of the vehicle had been shot. The driver was removed from his vehicle by emergency personnel and transported to Floyd Medical Center. However, the driver, Patrick Marcus Wall, a 21 year old Rome resident died from the gunshot wound.
As a result of the follow-up investigation conducted by the Floyd County Police Department Criminal Investigation Division, Stevie Lamar Garner (27 Years of age) was identified as a suspect.
A Criminal Arrest Warrant for the charge of Murder has been obtained for Stevie Lamar Garner and the Floyd County Police Department is now on the lookout for him.
