Floyd GOP re-elects Layla Shipman as Chairman of local party
Floyd County Republicans met Saturday for their 2015 County Convention. The group re-elected Layla Shipman to another 2-year term as Chairman of the Floyd County Republican Party. Other board members elected include J.C. Albritton, Public Relations Chair, and Clint Wilder, Assistant Treasurer. Congressman Tom Graves attended today’s meeting.
Floyd GOP Facebook post: “Thanks to all the delegates, board members, and elected officials who made such a successful convention possible. We elected two new county board members, passed a resolution, filled our slates for delegates to District and State Conventions, and were home by lunch.”
