Floyd County GOP sets precinct mass meeting, convention schedules

Feb. 7: Floyd County Republican Party to hold precinct mass meetings: At 10 a.m., the Floyd County Republican Party will convene Precinct Mass Meetings to elect Delegates and Alternate Delegates to the Floyd County Republican Party Convention. All Floyd County residents who are legally registered to vote and believe in the principles of the Republican Party are urged to participate in this process. Registration will open at 9 a.m. at the Charles C. Parker Center at 1325 Kingston Highway.

  • March 14: The Floyd County Republican Party Convention will convene at 10 a.m. at the Charles C. Parker Center to elect Delegates and Alternates to the Congressional District Convention. Additionally, the convention will be adopting the Rules of the Floyd County Republican Party and electing officers for the 2015-2017 term. Delegates and Alternates will be required to pay a fee of $25 for membership, which is to cover the cost of the County Convention.
  • April 18: The 14th Congressional District Convention will convene at 10 a.m. The District Convention will be adopting rules for the Congressional District Republican Party and electing officers for the 2015-2017 term. The Convention will also elect members of the State Committee of the Georgia Republican Party. Delegates and Alternates will be required to pay a fee to cover the cost of the Convention.
  • May 15: The Georgia Republican Party State Convention will convene at 2 p.m. in Athens and will elect the Georgia Republican Party Officers and conduct all other business as necessary. Delegates and Alternates will be required to pay a fee, which is to cover the cost of the Convention.
