Downtown Rome ‘We Validate’ campaign designed to ‘increase parking options’ for customers.

Media release: The Downtown Development Parking Office announces the launch of the “We Validate” campaign for parking in downtown. The purpose of the program is to increase parking options for customers by offering parking validations for parking off of Broad Street. Parking Services Manager Becky Smyth explains the benefits of the new program: “Our parking decks make parking downtown easy; and it saves customers the time and gas spent circling the block looking for an open parking space.” Businesses participating in the program will display an image of the parking validation logo in their windows. Validations will be offered for those who park off-street either at the Annex Lot on East First Street or at the Third Avenue parking deck. The first hour of parking in the Third Avenue deck is free. To validate parking, customers simply need to ask participating businesses for a validation ticket.
