Bartow EMS: 18-year-old airlifted to Atlanta hospital following single-car accident on Cass-White Rd.

Bartow County EMS responded to a 1-vehicle roll over on Cass-White Rd. near Watkins Farm. Upon EMS arrival, the crew had one patient complaining of back pain with no feeling or movement from the chest down. The patient, an 18 year-old male, was flown via life force medical helicopter to Atlanta Medical Center. read more Read more

2016 Paddle Georgia to start near Tennessee line, end at Heritage Park in downtown Rome.

Media release: The country’s largest week-long canoe/kayak camping adventure strokes through Northwest Georgia’s Ridge and Valley region on the Conasauga, Oostanaula and Coosa rivers this summer, ending in downtown Rome.
