SCHOOLS
Floyd County Schools: All activities, athletic events and practices involving Floyd County Schools for Saturday have been canceled.
Rome City Schools: All school activities cancelled for Saturday. The Rome High SAT test scheduled for Saturday is canceled and rescheduled for Feb. 20.
Darlington: Due to the predicted inclement weather, Darlington School will not administer the SAT on Saturday, Jan. 23. The make-up date for this test will be Saturday, Feb. 20. Everyone who was registered for tomorrow will automatically be registered for the new date. All athletic events (Academy, middle grades & GHSA) have also been canceled. Unity Christian School:. All Saturday activities cancelled.
Bartow County Schools: All athletic events for Saturday are cancelled.
Calhoun High School: The SAT scheduled for tomorrow at CHS is cancelled. The make up will be February 20, 2016.
COLLEGES
- Shorter University: SAT Testing for Sat. has been cancelled due to the possibility of inclement weather. Contact http://sat.collegeboard.org for make-up test info.
- Georgia Highlands College. All Georgia Highlands College classes and activities are cancelled for Saturday, January 23rd.

- Chattahoochee Technical College: All campuses closed Saturday, Jan. 23.
MEDICAL
- Dr. Miniyar’s Pediatrics: Closed on Saturday
- Harbin Clinic Immediate Care Rome will open for our normal business hours today, starting at 8:30 a.m.. Harbin Clinic Family Medicine/Pediatrics Cartersville will not have Saturday hours tomorrow.

Floyd Urgent Care offices in Rome, Rockmart and Cartersville will open at 10 a.m.
OTHER
- Rome Civic Ballet: “Footsteps in Faith” shows at City Auditorium will be delayed noon. Originally scheduled 10 a.m. show will start at noon. Originally scheduled 1 p.m. show will start at 2 p.m. Originally scheduled 4 p.m. show will start at 4:30 p.m. Originally scheduled 7 p.m. show will start at 7 p.m. Please arrive 30 mins before showtime.
- Saint Mary’s Catholic Church: Due to uncertain weather conditions, the First Reconciliation Ceremony scheduled for Saturday 11 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rome is canceled.
- Rome YMCA: All basketball games are cancelled for Saturday,
- From Rome-Floyd Parks and Rec: All basketball games on Jan. 23 have been postponed to a later date.
- Floyd County GOP delays Saturday morning until Jan. 30. “We will still meet at the Fuddruckers of Rome at 8:30 a.m and Mickey Tuck will be our speaker. We hope you will still be able to join us on Saturday, Jan. 30.”
