Former U.S. Treasurer Bay Buchanan coming to Unity Christian School for free community event
Former U.S. Treasurer Bay Buchanan will be coming to Rome for a free event at Unity Christian School on Feb. 22 at 8 a.m. The event, which is open to the community, is sponsored by Unity Christian School’s Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) chapter in partnership with the national youth conservative organization, Young America’s Foundation.
“We are honored to announce that Ms. Buchanan is coming to speak to students at Unity Christian School. I am especially excited as Ms. Buchanan is a role model of mine who has truly defied the liberal narrative of the ‘glass ceiling’, which supposedly prevents women from getting ahead.” says Hannah Payne, chairman of Unity’s YAF chapter.
“Ms. Buchanan was one of the youngest Treasurers of the United States under Reagan, and held influential positions on four presidential campaigns all while raising three boys. With a growing impact in politics, Ms. Buchanan is a champion of the Conservative movement nationwide and a great example to all ages of what it means to be a leader.”
Carson Earnest, vice chairman of YAF at Unity, believes her example is one all can follow.
“I am very excited to be a part of bringing this great speaker, Bay Buchanan, to our school and our community. Ms. Buchanan is a great icon for the conservative movement in America and throughout the world. She is truly a wonderful and courageous woman whose remarkable career is an excellent example for all to follow. We are very excited to be able to influence our school and community in a positive way by bringing in Ms. Buchanan to speak and also to bring attention to our great club and its mission of educating youth with Conservative ideas. You won’t want to miss this great lecture at Unity on February 22,” he says.
The event is open to the community, but you must RSVP online for a free ticket: https://ucsyaf.eventsmart.com/events/bay-buchanan/.
