Latest from Floyd EMA Director Tim Herrington: Currently we can expect the rain to continue most of the day today changing over to snow sometime after 6pm. The temperatures will fall below freezing sometime after midnight with the snow diminishing around daybreak. There is a possibility of icy road conditions affecting bridges, overpasses, and commuter traffic during the early morning hours as temperature rise above freezing early Saturday afternoon.
