Calhoun Police looking for information on missing Cobb man who’s truck was found here

Media release: Calhoun Police along with investigators from Cobb County are continuing to investigate the disappearance of 46-year-old Roy Gerald Brown.

Brown was last seen at his home in Cobb County on Thursday, Dec. 24, around 3:30 a.m. Brown had planned to be gone approximately 30 minutes but never returned.

A friend had spoken to Brown by phone on Dec. 24 around 4 a.m. and this was the last contact anyone has had with Brown since.

“On Jan. 2, Brown’s vehicle was found abandoned in the parking lot of the Rite Aid drug store at 910 S. Wall St. in Calhoun. Several personal items as well as his cell phone and $500 in cash were found inside the 2007 Pontiac Vibe belonging to Mr. Brown. “We are continuing to follow up on numerous leads and are working in conjunction with detectives from Cobb County to find definitive answers as to what may have happen to Mr. Brown,” said Lt. Tony Pyle

Brown is described as a white male, average build with dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black jacket and blue jeans.
