On Saturday, Feb. 13, the Etowah Valley Humane Society will host its Casino Night Fundraiser, providing the perfect Valentine’s Day activity for couples and singles alike. Join fellow animal lovers to show your “puppy love” with a fun-filled night of Vegas-style casino gaming, food, music, and a silent auction. Dress in your best Vegas-chic and come place your bets for homeless pets! This year’s event will be held at America’s Auto Auction, located at 444 Joe Frank Harris Parkway in Cartersville, GA from 8pm to midnight. General Admission Tickets are $60, VIP Tickets are $75 and all proceeds benefit the Society’s mission of saving the lives of homeless animals. Message from Fields Ferry Golf Club: “We will be covering the greens on Sunday for the very cold days and nights upcoming. We will have the greens covered Monday and Tuesday. If tempatures permit we will remove covers on Wednesday. I will keep you advised to when we uncover the greens.”
