Ware Mechanical alert: Wind chill a concern for Tuesday; snow and ice could be issues Wednesday.

The forecast for Tuesday and especially Wednesday need your attention.
- Tuesday: It will be frigid at bus stops with a temperature of 18 and a wind chill of 12 degrees (6-8 a.m.
- Wednesday: We could see between a half inch and inch of snow beginning around 7 a.m. and then 0.10 of an inch of ice midday. Conditions will get worse as you travel further north. Dalton/Whitfield County is under a winter weather advisory already for much of Wednesday and into Thursday.

- This evening — PP&P: Bring the pets and sensitive plants in. Insulate the outdoor faucets. Indoors, leave the cold water dripping with sink cabinets open to help keep pipes from freezing.
- Tuesday morning: Bundle the kids and yourself up. Layers is key. It won’t get above 37 all day (today’s high might not break 35)
- Wednesday morning snow? Upon further review, snow is back in the forecast — perhaps 0.10 of an inch between 6 a.m. and noon.
- Traveling to Northeast Georgia? Wind chill advisory in effect from 1 until 10 a.m. Tuesday for Murray, Fannin, Gilmer, Union, towns, Pickens, Dawson, Lumpkin and White counties. They could see wind chills of five below zero.
