Aaron Kelton is Shorter University’s new football coach. A media release confirms rumors from earlier in the day that a coach would be named soon. Kelton had been spotted in the community in recent days. Most recently, Kelton was head coach of Division III Williams University in Williamstown, Mass. His record over six seasons: 23-25 (.479). The team went 2-6 in 2015. He replaces Phil Jones, the first coach of the Shorter Hawks, who was released after his 11th season in Rome in early December. Hawks.
