The Floyd County Republican Party will be hosting a Debate Watching Party at the Brewhouse on January 14th, at 7 p.m. Come enjoy some free appetizers, drinks and debate bingo with your fellow Floyd County Republicans as we learn more about our potential presidential candidates. We will also have a lot of great prizes: t-shirts, free Floyd GOP memberships, free breakfast at one of our monthly meetings and much more! There will also be representatives from various presidential campaigns will be on hand to answer questions and hand out campaign materials. This is the last debate before primary elections begin.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration weekend kicks off with a production “Journey Into Blackness Through Art, Music and Poetry” written and directed by Mary Shopshire and Victor Hixon.The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Rome City Auditorium and is free and open to the public. MLK events
