$11 million, 86,000-square-foot nursing home proposed for Rockmart off U.S. 278
An $11 million, 86,000-square-foot nursing home campus is planned on 10.7 acres on Goodyear Road just off U.S. 278 and behind the Floyd Primary Care and Floyd Urgent Care in Rockmart, according to plans posted on The Construction Journal. The administration building, covering 12,378 square feet, will feature nearly 2,300 of rehab space, a 5,228-square-foot meeting space/cafe, a chapel, a beauty salon, a kitchen and other amenities. The building accommodates for 456 people. Residence buildings would wrap around the administration building in something of a horseshoe manner. The project is by Andy Morris of Reliable Healthcare in Rome. We have calls into both.
