Ware Mechanical forecast: Rain back early Wednesday but not as heavy as before
#hometownweather
The situation:
There is good news — the rain starting early Wednesday isn’t expected to be as heavy as first thought. Northwest Georgia might get away with around two thirds of an inch of rain vs. the one to three inches forecast to our south. Still, given the saturated soil already, any rainfall will only aggravate existing flood conditions. The above map shows we received nearly seven inches of rain between 7 a.m. Dec. 21 and 7 a.m. Tuesday.
