Harbin Clinic is sponsoring the 2015-2016 YMCA Rome’s youth basketball program.
Media release: Harbin Clinic is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the 2015-2016 YMCA Rome’s youth basketball program.
More than 300 children from ages 5 to 12 have already begun practicing basketball in advance of the start of the season on Friday, Dec. 18.
“We are pleased to help support the YMCA and the many kids, parents and volunteers involved in the youth basketball program,” Harbin Clinic CEO Kenna Stock says. “It’s great to see so many kids getting involved and staying healthy and active at a young age.”
Harbin Clinic serves as the corporate sponsor for the league and also supplies T-shirts to every player.
“Kids are learning the sport, and they are having fun,” YMCA Director Scott McCreless says. “It’s awesome to be able to watch the progression from each age group. I’ll tell you what - you haven’t lived until you’ve watched 5- and 6-year-olds play basketball.”
McCreless believes the partnership is a natural one. “Harbin is committed to the children of this community. It’s great to have this partnership because both of our missions are about the wellness and health of families,” McCreless says.
