Cartersville’s ‘Miracle on Main Street’ Christmas Parade fills downtown

The Cartersville Exchange Club Christmas Parade — themed “Miracle on Main Street” — was a big hit Thursday night. Some updates from the parade:

Float winners. “As always it was very hard for the judges to select the winners. The Exchange Club is extremely appreciative of everyone that participates in the parade, attends the parade and helps support this event in any way.”
Commercial Division:
1. Coosa Valley Credit Union
2. Shaw Plant 94
3. Backyard Building Movers
Non-commercial Division:
1. Gerdau Ameristeel -Advocates for Children
2. Bartow County Toys for Tots Etowah Valley Young Marines
3. Cloverleaf Baptist Church

The Exchange Club reports 73 float and vehicle entries this year and more than $2,500 was raised by the Bucket Brigade at the start of the parade Thursday evening.
