Busy week ahead for Floyd, Polk and Gordon county schools. Baccalaureate services begin today for Armuchee and Coosa; Monday for Model and Wednesday for Pepperell. Graduation ceremonies set for Friday and Saturday.


FLOYD COUNTY

  • Armuchee High School – Baccalaureate – Sunday at 8 a.m.; graduation May 25 at 7 p.m.
  • Coosa High School – Baccalaureate – Sunday at 6 p.m.; graduation – May 26 at 2:30 p.m.
  • Model High School – Baccalaureate – Monday at 7 p.m.; graduation – May 26 at 10 a.m.
  • Pepperell High School – Baccalaureate – May 23 at 6:30 p.m.; graduation – May 26 at 7 p.m. Baccalaureate speaker will be retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Rob Skelton.

GORDON COUNTY

  • Calhoun High School: Graduation, May 25 at 8 p.m. at stadium.
  • Gordon Central High School: Graduation, May 25 at 8 p.m. at Ratner Stadium.
  • Sonoraville High School: Graduation, May 24 at 8 p.m. at school.

POLK COUNTY

  • Rockmart High School: Graduation, May 25 at 8 p.m. at stadium.
  • Cedartown High School: Graduation, May 26 at 10 a.m. at stadium.
