OUTLOOK

A more organized system will bring scattered shower and thunderstorm activity mainly north of I-20 for today into Friday. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible through the weekend, mainly in north Georgia. More widespread showers and storms are possible Monday into Tuesday as a low pressure system moves northward across the area. There is still some uncertainty to timing and intensity this far out in the forecast so please monitor future updates.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3 pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. Light and variable wind becoming west 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.

Thursday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Friday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
