Business: Pawn shop coming to Martha Berry across from John Davenport. Job fair set for May 12 for Adairsville firm.

A familiar spot on Martha Berry Boulevard is about to get a new tenant. Signs for Floyd County Pawn are up as work continues on updating the building that recently was home to Driven Nutrition and several other businesses. The hours are listed as 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday.


The Georgia Department of Labor will help Faltec America fill positions for their manufacturing facility in Adairsville. The event will be held May 16 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Cartersville Career Center, 19 Felton Place. Company representatives will be interviewing for:

  • Maintenance Technicians
  • QC Injection Molding Inspectors
  • Utility Operators, and more.
