Rome City Brewing’s Tap Room starts food service. Following a 100 on this week’s food inspection, Rome City Brewing’s Tap Room atop the brewery at 333 Broad St. begins serving a small menu this evening. Included this weekend are a slider trio (beef or chicken); loaded tater tots covered in beer cheese, Sriracha Slaw and Downtown Brown Sauce; Taco Trio (beef or chicken) soft tacos, topped with shredded cheese, Sriracha Slaw and Downtown Brown Sauce; Cheese bites- White Cheddar cheese chunks, breaded and fried, served with Sriracha Ranch dipping sauce; eight wings tossed in choice of Garlic Sriracha Sauce or Downtown Brown Sauce. Prices: $6.99 to $9.99. An expanded menu is on the way. Hours: Thursday and Friday, opens at 5 p.m. Saturday, at noon with a free acoustic show at 8 that evening on the Tap Room’s rooftop patio.
Foundry prepares for the second ‘May the Fourth be with Brew.’ The growler bar at Fifth Avenue and West Third brings back a big hit from 2017 with a different spin this year. In their words: “Who will win our Jedi vs Sith competition on Friday’s May The Fourth Be With Brew? Well now, there is incentive!
