Updated: Suspect in Wednesday standoff with Rockmart Police, Floyd SWAT now faces five charges — four felony and one misdemeanor.

From Polk County Jail reports:

Rockmart Police have charged Quintin Ari Glover, 21, with a series of crimes that ended with his arrest Wednesday morning following a standoff with police. Glover, of Rockmart, is now charged with four felonies — aggravated assault, armed robbery, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempted to and theft by receiving stolen property as well as a misdemeanor count of obstruction of law officers, according to Thursday’s report from the Polk County Jail.

Wednesday, from WGAA 1340 AM, Cedartown:

“A suspect involved in a standoff with Rockmart Police and Floyd County SWAT is now in custody, according to reports from the scene. Rockmart Police Chief Keith Sorrells says he does not have anymore information at this time.The name of the suspect and charges will be announced later.”

“Rockmart Police are on the scene of an apparent standoff with an alleged armed robbery suspect who barricaded himself inside a local church. According to Rockmart Police Chief Keith Sorrells, the standoff at 209 Litchfield St. has been ongoing for over an hour. Sorrells is asking that people steer clear of the area until the situation is neutralized. Rome/Floyd County SWAT was called in to assist in the standoff and reportedly was clearing out the church. He said the suspect, whose identity is not known at this time, reportedly robbed the Big Bears store, also called Chicken, Chicken, Chicken. “
