Several additional upper level systems will move through during the extended period including the weekend resulting in a very wet period. Total rainfall could reach 3 to 5 inches over portions of North Georgia this week with some minor flooding likely. Thunderstorms are also possible on Sunday Afternoon although severe storms are not anticipated at this time.
We’re looking at upwards of three inches here between Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. That’s on top of three inches already recorded last Sunday and on Wednesday.
