The steel is rising on the Lofts at Broad and Third in downtown Rome. Already, a protective barrier for sidewalk travel is up along Broad Street as expanded work gets under way. The plans call for 26 condominiums as well as six retail spots on the ground floor. At least a dozen condos have been reserved as well as three of the retail locations.
And the wood framing is in place on the westside branch of Coosa Valley Credit Union in Cartersville. CVCU’s newest location is off Ga. 113 and Walnut Grove Road. “We hope to open the branch by June of this year,” says Stephanie Graves. Look for 7,000 square feet under roof. It is the credit union’s second office in Cartersville, the other at 1149 N. Tennessee St.
Danielle Graham has joined Renasant Bank as an Assistant Vice President, Commercial Relationship Officer. She’ll be based at the office at 880 Joe Frank Harris Parkway, Cartersville. Graham received her Bachelor of Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Georgia Southern University. She is active with the Cartersville-Bartow Chamber of Commerce and a member of the 2017 Leadership Bartow Class. She now serves on the Leadership Bartow Committee (2017-2018) and currently serves as the Secretary. She is wife to Jeremy and mother to Chase, 3.
The Rome Floyd Chamber of Commerce will present an update and briefing on Partners in Prosperity III on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 4 p.m. at the chamber’s temporary location in the former Georgia Power location at 800 Broad St.
