From the YMCA of Rome and Floyd County: “It’s been a cold start to 2018 and we will see more cold weather in the coming weeks. Please help us spread the word about our annual One Warm Coat Drive at the Rome YMCA. If you have a clean, gently used or new coat to donate, please bring it to the Y on Second Avenue this week (open 4:30 a.m.-9 p.m.). If you need a coat, or know of someone who may, please have them come to the Y this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday to pick up a free coat. Donations of sweaters, hoodies, caps and gloves also accepted.
