The “opening soon” sign in front of the new Jerusalem Express at 330 Broad St. is attracting eyes already. And it should. Barring unforeseen holiday delays, Tony and Moe Jasper hope to have their second local restaurant open soon. “We’re shooting for the first week of December,” Tony said Wednesday, adding that some “final touches” are still needed on the home of the former Partridge Restaurant.
The hours will be 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and probably 11 a.m. until 3 or 4 p.m. on Sundays, he says.
What’s on the way: “A pick-and-choose your toppings format … It will be our same menu and recipes but it will be quicker, faster service because our kitchen will be in the front,” said Tony in an earlier interview with Hometown Headlines.
The original location at 223 Turner McCall Blvd. will remain in business as is. The brothers also own the new Rock n Roll Ice Cream Rolls at 326 Broad St.
