As with this corner off Chulio Road in East Rome, you’ll find the SPLOST battle being fought with yard signs, on Facebook and elsewhere in the final days of the campaign season. Friday photo by Hometown.

The last round of financial disclosure forms on Tuesday’s ballot are out, including those for the SPLOST and education tax tensions.

Here’s what we found for campaign contributions and expenditures through mid October (or 15 days prior to the election) for the two tax extensions on the ballot. The information comes from the State Ethics Commission:

Rome/Floyd Citizens for Progress Inc.

  • Expenditures: $7,242 (including $6,972 to Hi-Tech Signs for campaign signs)
