Trinity United Methodist Church’s Pumpkin Patch is now through Oct. 31. The hours are: Sunday-Friday, noon until 8 p.m. and Saturdays, 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Pumpkins of all colors, shapes and sizes as well as gourds, corn stalks and fall and Halloween-related decorations and goodies are available for purchase. Pricing for regular-sized pumpkins begins at $5. Proceeds go toward community projects and the church’s youth groups. To schedule a field trip, call 706-291-0033 to contact Ruth Havens.

 

Four months in the making: Find out what’s brewing at Rome City Brewing Co.┬áThis really is one of RCBC’s most anticipated craft beers yet – Bourbon Barrel Brown Ale. Dr. Trent Pault and Jay Shell have been nurturing this one for four months and it will premiere at 5 p.m. Friday. Included: Prizes, corn hole and “a new local beer.” Plus at 9 p.m. Live music by Brandon Maddox. 325 Broad St., Rome.
