U.S. 278 in Rockmart picks up another new business: Coming soon smack in the middle of the spanking-new Chick-fil-A and Martin’s Biscuits of U.S. 278 in Rockmart will be Fast Trac Car Wash, promising a clean vehicle in three minutes as well as free vacuums. Fast Trac currently has stores in Marietta and Smyrna, both open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. seven days a week. Prices start at $7 for an express wash. It is the latest business planned for Chattahoochee Drive with more expected. Keeping cars and trucks clean is a hot business right now. Goo Goo Express Wash is opening a third Rome location in early 2019, this one on Martha Berry near the Armuchee Connector.

And just down the street . . . Floyd Urgent Care in Rockmart to start Sunday hours beginning Oct. 8, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

RW’s flea market, store and snack shack location up for lease: Running Wild’s “mini mall” on Ga. 101 in Aragon just before U.S. 278 is up for lease. We thought they had a great idea with the flea market between the former Dollar General location and the store. Harvey-Given Co. in Rome is handling the lease.
