Today’s edition of Harbin Clinic’s Walk With a Doc drew another big crowd to downtown Rome Saturday morning.

It was the fifth walk in the 2017 series and together around 300 area residents of all ages interested have participated. The event includes some simple exercise and a chance to talk with Harbin doctors before, during and after the walk. Each time, the group meets at Bridgepoint Plaza by 9 a.m. From there, it is a comfortable two-mile walk along the Kingfisher Trail. It is open to “all fitness levels.”

Saturday’s event was led by  Harbin Clinic Radiation Oncologist Dr. JC Abdou who is very active, competing in local road races.

“I tell all of my patients that getting some form of exercise is extremely beneficial to their health and well being,” he says. “Walking is a great way to get outside and earn some great health benefits.”

The event returns Saturday, Oct. 21. More details will be announced soon. For background, please click Walk With a Doc.
