Two long-standing orthodontic practices in Rome are joining forces as Dr. Lavonne Fore merges her practice with Pridemore and Cox Orthodontics. Fore, who has been practicing in Rome since 1990, will be moving her practice and staff to the offices of Dr. Ben Pridemore and Dr. Ryan Cox at 23 John Maddox Drive by the end of September.
“Dr. Fore, Dr. Pridemore and myself have always been very result-driven perfectionists in orthodontics. The acquisition of Dr. Fore’s practice will be a home run for orthodontic care in Rome, Georgia,” says Dr. Cox, who began his practice in Rome with Dr. Pridemore in 2012 Pridemore has been practicing in Rome over 50 years.
“By merging our offices we will now have the most technologically advanced orthodontic office in Northwest Georgia. We can now offer our patients an impression-free office with our three dimensional intraoral scanner which eliminates the goopy ‘molds’. We have also added an i-CAT FLX three-dimensional Cone-Beam CT Scanner that will be able to help in diagnosis of some of the most severe orthodontic issues without a trip to an imaging center or oral surgeon.”
Fore sent out a letter to patients on Friday assuring them that she is not retiring.
“I want you to know that this was a very well thought out decision and most of all that I am not retiring! I will continue to work side-by-side with my new partners and will continue to see all of my patients. As they will continue to see their patients. This phenomenon opportunity will bring orthodontics best technologies together and will overall better improve orthodontic care in Rome,” she states in the letter.
Fore will be transitioning her office over the next few weeks and will continue to see patients at her current location at 402 N. Fourth Ave. until the end of September.
