OUTLOOK

About a quarter of an inch of rain on Tuesday in Rome with a small storm dumping lots of water at 5 this morning. It won’t last long. In Cartersville, around two tenths of an inch since 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.

There will be scattered to numerous thunderstorms each day, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. A few storms
could be strong to severe with the main hazards being gusty winds, frequent lightning and locally heavy rain.
