Another East Rome hotel is on the market. Country Inn and Suites, located at 15 Hobson Way off Hwy. 411, with 60 rooms is listed at $4.5 million, according to the commercial real estate site LoopNet. The notice comes five months after the 46-room LaQuinta Inn & Suites, at 15 Chateau Drive, was listed at $2.65 million. The 67-room Quality Inn at 40 Grace Drive, just off U.S. 411 near Riverside Toyota, was also previously listed, but is now off the market. (LoopNet / archive).
According to Floyd County property tax records, the hotel is owned by Anil Patel with Jai Laxmi Ma Lodging Inc. His family also owns the Holiday Inn Express at 35 Hobson Way, which is adjacent to the Country Inn & Suites. We reached out to Patel and Sarah Cargle, hotel general manager, on Saturday, but messages were not returned as of Saturday evening.
